A breathtaking eco-resort, set in the soothing heart of French forest land that's also close to Switzerland and Germany.

  • Bedrooms: Varies
  • Bathrooms: 1 per cabin
  • Minimum stay: 1 night

Positioned in France’s historic Territoire de Belfort, Cabanes des Grands Reflets (that’s “grand reflections” in English) is an eco-resort that’s quite unlike any other.

Nestled amongst 50 acres of the lush forest land that surrounds Lake Verchat, this is a wonderful base from which to explore Alsace, Switzerland, and Germany – so it’s particularly perfect for wandering souls.

Yet you may find that your thirst for travel is well and truly quenched here, amongst so much calm, natural beauty, and such irresistibly cosy accommodation.

Choose your natureful paradise from a selection of nest-like cabins, ‘perched’ in the trees, or serene floating cabins. Each type is available for two, or larger-sized for families, some sleeping up to 6 people.

Dedicated to protecting the beauty of this spectacular natural environment, each cabin blends perfectly with its surroundings, using no water or electricity (though some cabins are equipped with electricity to supply a chemical-free Nordic bath on the terrace…proving that eco-friendliness doesn’t mean compromising on luxury).

The tree cabins are a sight to behold, some equipped with actual birds’ nests for an extra sense of cosiness, giant pine cones as bedrooms, and a glorious stargazing roof.

Meanwhile, the floating wooden cabins are set on the glistening lake, and are gracefully Nordic in style, so you can relax in clean-lined, minimalist luxury.
